The male slowly walked up to the home, he had heard the stories of this place but took no heed to them, he smirked and crept up to the house, his aqua blue eyes peering into a window, he slowly opened the door and walked inside, his dark hair hung in his eyes but where brushed away by his hand, his boots tumping on the floor lightly as he walked, exploring this house with a smirk on his face, he had his back pack over his shoulder but set it down by the stair case with his guitar, he continued exploring wondering if the stories where true...or just a big fib, he knew he was going to get out of here alive, he wasnt scared of this place, he was hardly scared of anything...
Brad let out a small sigh, he glances around abit more, his handsome figure moving around as he explored looking at some old art work the hung on the dusty cob webby walls, he heard pitter patter of little feet "Damn rats" he said to himself as he looked around a little more before taking a seat in a sheet covered chair

Savannah walked in solitary silence. She was still a little withdrawn only just moments from coming back to consciousness in a dreary apartment. The fact that she was left alone with only her sister wasn't a comfort. Well, to know that her twin sister was still around was a great comfort! But it was just that they were seemingly alone. Alone in a town suddenly deserted and left to decay in it's own misery. With a frown that had twisted it's way upon the twice pierced lips of a short girl, brows had furrowed as she approached the building.
Internally she trembled; after to grasp the doorknob and give it a turn. With a burning swallow, that feared task had been completed. The hinges screamed in protest, and the door itself seemed to want to fall into ash from the effects of age. Cobalt eyes wide with terror peered into the building that carried with it horrible reputations of kidnappings and torture. Perhaps she wouldn't have been so afraid if the sun was shiney in all of it's cheerful glory. And if there had been people standing behind her, daring to venture forward. But she was alone.
A boot clad foot was first to enter the house, followed by the rest of her being. Seeing a backpack that was nestled by the stairs, she shuffled closer to the item and began to poke and prod at it in curiosity. Perhaps there would be something within reassuring and calming . . . wishful thinking there, Savvy. The form of a being came into view, she literally shreiked out an apology for having disturbed him and his belongings. After all, she didn't know if he was someone that resided in this morbid place. For all she knew, he could be a member of a secret association of insane zombies!
Okay, so maybe she had seen one too many horror movies. But it could have been a possibility. After all, it wasn't every day that everyone from a huge city such as this just up and left, now was it?
" I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bother you! I was . . . I was just looking for someone! Everyone disappeared and I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'll . . . just be leaving. I'm sorry! "
Her hands had been thrown up in front of her, as if they would protect her from the guy. He seemed dressed in the same fashion that Savannah, herself, dabbled in. The whole black dye and punkish / gothic look. It was a nice fashion, no? Anyway, she had backed herself away just a few steps. Just enough to create some distance between the two just in case if Savvy would have to make a quick get-away.

The young male looked up to the girl and let out a little chuckle, his aqua blue eyes seemed calm and kind, he rose to his feet and walked over to the girl with a smile "Dont be alamed, i wont hurt you...My name is Brad, whats your if i may ask?" he sounded kind, his gun hidden so he wouldnt frighten her and make her think he was mean "Are you alright?" he saw the fightened look in her eyes, he perked his pirced eye brow slightly, he still had a friendly smile on his lips..
He then got his backpack and tossed it over his shoulder, nothing but clothes and other supplies where in there, he brushed his dark hair out of his eyes, his boots making him seem a little taller then what he was

Darkness swarmed in from all corners as fingers worked diligently to re-tie her bootlace. Irritating little buggers those things were, especially when you're in a hurry and can't seem to find the right ones to tie. Or maybe it was just the eerie feeling Lydi got from being in this City. Anymore, it seemed like no one ever lived there or chose to have any contact if there were any present. Wonders of the reasons for all the disappearances tore and etched at her mind like the sharp tips of fingernails Savvy used to wear at Halloween. Small smile formed across pale lips at the thought of her twin sister..yeah.. Savvy was great.. Savvy!
Spheres of ice lifted immediately to the barren road ahead. Nothing. Remaining crouched for a few moments, peripheral vision locked in to surroundings... trying to make out what shadows lurked in the deep crevices of the alleyways. Shiver inched up Lydi's spine as she casually stood to her normal 5'5 height. Switchblade had been stolen from its home in her right boot before lifting once more and was now tucked securely in the palm of her left hand. Slender brow rose as the sound of a creaking door spurred her attention...perhaps Savvy had gone in there?
Steps were silent, save for the soft vibrations of rubber soles as she drew closer to the door. Glass littered the brush below the front windows, howling sounds coming from within as the breeze blew through. Sinister... this building was just full of evil, but Lydi trudged on up to the front portal.
Voices!.. Savvy.. and someone else. Brows narrowed, her expression turned to sheer anger as doorknob was grasped. Ready or not, she was coming in.. and if a single ounce of that stentch came from him, he was history. Giving a quick turn of the handle, the door was pushed open to reveal Savvy and another figure standing ahead, just at the stairwell.
"Don't.. ever leave me alone again."

The male quickly turned being a little frightened by the girls quick entrance, his hand reached for his gun but quickly retreated his hand, he crossed his arms over his chest with a slight chuckle "Wow, your the first to ever make me reach for my gun like that" he smirked to her "Im Brad" he said quietly, his hand once again brushing straids of his dark hair out of his eyes

First thought as sights watched this guy go for something hidden in his shirt.. a gun versus a switchblade. Her percentage for survival.. wasn't very promising. So, relaxation occured slightly as he retreated, finding a smirk come to his lips. Sarcastic grin formed over pale lips as she nodded slowly.
"I tend to have that effect on some people."
Shrug of those slender shoulders as she moved to tuck the covered blade just under the waistband of her jeans. Fashionable she was.. oh yes. Holes torn in the knees of her jeans placed there by her knife during a fit of boredom one afternoon. Black tanktop that almost seemed to small for her.. or was it Savvy's that she had accidentally left in her closet? Either way, it was hers now.. until Savvy noticed.
"I'm Lydi.. and it's almost a comfort to find someone normal around here instead of those smelly bastards hanging around the allies."

Cassie crept within yet another ruined realm, azure pools scanning the surrounding areas. Elongated crimson curls strode into viewed encompassment, slender hand reaching to guide it away once more. Crown turned suddenly, ears catching the clamor of others..voices were heard, and a devious smirk formed on lips. Limbs ingressed closer, frame erecting tall instead of crouching at usual level.
Fingers were crunched into a fist reaching to lips as a soft cough emitted larynx..to make one self known. Once again crown was tossed free of stray curlets, rest of scantily clothed bodice escaping the shadowed region which had currently been holding her captive. Lips remained in grin..transforming now into one of greeting..and then tearing as soprano emitted from the rather large opening,"I am Cassie, I hope you dont mind me intruding this...gathering..I suppose." vocalization ended, pools darted to each biped, from the male..to the duo of females. Crown dipped slightly in acknowledgement..mistress merely awaiting the reply of her hasty statement.

Savannah had been scared to death until she discovered that the man actually spoke. Well, it wasn't just that. It was the fact that he didn't come after and try to eat her brain or anything. She had a death fear of zombies ever since seeing those horror movies about it.
" I'm Savannah. " A hand was reached forward, accepting his in her own and giving a firm shake. Her voice was still laced with a little nervousness about being in the building. Not to mention the occasional scurry of talon enriched feet. Rats. Usually she never had much of a problem with them until lately.
The door that had opened made her turn and back away from the thing almost as soon as she heard the doorknob being rattled. She anticipated what would be making itself presence on the other side of that door. Until . . . it was her twin sister!
" Lydi! " She could have pissed herself with happiness. Or, well, not exactly. Lunging forward, she threw her arms around the girl before backing off to let her breathe. Hey. HEY! What's that Savannah's tanktop? Now wasn't the time to bring it up, but she could always tell when her sister was wearing something that belonged to her. It was always just a bit snug since Savannah was at least three or four inches shorter than Lydi.
Cobalt eyes turned back to the guy and the now the newest member of their little group before Savannah started to chew against the left lip piercing. So, there was three people together; maybe they should form a group and try to figure out what the hell had happened in this town? Yes! Go all . . . movie style. The only thing they lacked was the flower covered van and a dog that could talk.
" Do either of you know what happened? I mean, I woke up in the apartment and everyone was gone. " Savannah had left out the part about her screaming and actually breaking down into a crying fit. So maybe our little Savvy had a deep down fear of being the only person on earth. It was the scariest thing to her other than being buried alive. But maybe one of the three would know what happened. And if she was lucky, the guy or girl would tell what all he or she knew. If they knew anything of what had happened, that is.

He looked toward Cassie "Im Brad" he smiled a little, glancing through his aqua colored eyes to them all, he tilted his head a little listening to his neck pop, he then looked to Savvy
"I have no idea what happened to this place, i myself have just arrived to find it in ruins" he gave a little smirk "But it looks like a fun place to explore" out of boredom he pulled his gun and shot one of the rats as it came near him, after he was done with killing it, he spun his gun around his fingers and back into the waist of his pants where it lay safe, he smirked a little more watching the mouse twitch as it died

Savannah winced visibly as she watched that poor rat twitch in misery and death. With a little 'aw' given, and had to tear her attention away from the critter before looking back up to its murderer.
" Aw, that was mean. " That was a mumble of words before she started speaking again. Standing was really taking a toll on her back, so she shuffled her feet over to the staircase. Dusting off the few particles of dirt and dust before she sat down and looked up at the forming group.
" So. What are we going to do? I mean, should we leave? Or should we go find more people or what? I mean, to be honest, this whole 'disappearing town' thing is just creepy. " Said with pure honesty. The only thing that Savvy wanted to do right now more than anything was leave.[/color]

The hug from her sister was noticed a little after her comment towards Brad but was much appreciated, especially since this place wasn't very welcoming. The cold steel of the blade hidden beneath her tank top..well Savvy's tank top.. was beginning to warm a little from transferred body heat. Besides the fact that there were now four of them, her hopes were starting to lift slightly.
Vision was attracted to the figure of the new girl.. Cassie. It was good to finally see someone else conversating without having to worry if they were going to pounce on you at any given time. The constant thought of creatures launching at you from dark corners got a little tedious after time.
"Of course we don't mind your interference, not like we're really doing much of anything anyway." Response directed toward Cassie, small smirk fixated upon dull pink lips. The girl was normal looking.. a little pale in complexion, but pretty none the less.
She listened silently to Savvy's suggestion of finding others, and maybe, that was the smarter thing to do.. but first they needed to find some sort of store or something to gather supplies. The apartment was probably over-run by now if not by rats, then those gangle creatures roaming about.
"I think we should maybe look for other survivors, but on the way.. kinda look for a store or something. What do you guys think?" Glancing first to her twin, and then to Brad.. followed by expectation, to Cassie. Slender brow rose in interest, awaiting anyone else's input.

Savannah leaned back just a little against the stairs; elbows placed behind her to keep her slightly reclined though still elevated. However, it wasn't much of a surprise when her elbow sank through the molded wood of the stairs, resulting in her squeal.
Mumbling a few words as she sat up, rubbing at her elbow and looking nervously towards the hole that she had created. That scratching and squealing sound of rats became just a little more audible due to that hole. So, Savvy thought it best to move away from it entirely. Looking to Lydi, she would nod her head in agreement. She had already armed herself up with weapons only shortly after she had came back to consciousness. Well, and stopped crying of fright, mind you.
Her attire had seen better days, clearly. She was dressed in a pair of snugged, stonewashed black jeans with several patches and other done-at-home decorations added. On the pyramid studded belt was a circular looking piece of dark metal. It was a tri-blade knife that her two older brothers had bought her on her eighteenth birthday. She wore a blue hoodie with the words, 'Connecticut' in yellow across the chest; only seperated by the zipper line.
Savannah didn't know where she had gotten the hoodie, and she wasn't from Connecticut or knew anyone that lived there. However, it had just appeared in her closet one day, so she figured what the hell, right? Along the sleeves were thin yellow lines just for that added decoration. Or whatever the purpose. She wore a pair of black, combat boots that were just a touch too big. But that was to blame because they were Lydi's shoes.
A shift of movement to adjust the shoulder mesh backpack that she wore around her neck and shoulder that was getting just a touch heavy. A several ring adorned hand scratched at an itch at the back of her head as she stayed quite; making a mental note of what they would need from a store. Hm, maybe Wal-Mart would be open. She needed the hair gel and it wasn't like stealing if no one was there to watch it.
" So, um. Let's go to Wal-Mart. It's always open. " Just a bit of humor thrown in there as if to lighten the situation. A smug little smirk curled the corners of thrice pierced lips as she turned to peek out of a window that she just so happened to be standing close by to. Whatever they were going to do, she wanted to do it quick. This place gave her the creeps like w0ah.

He slowly shook his head "You guys go on ahead....I'm going to stay by myself, I think it will be easier that way seeing as i dont get along with people that well...." he smirked, of course he was going to follow them just to make sure they where safe, he would hide out in the shadows, he just didnt see the point of finding others, let them find us was his idea but he remained silent, rats crawling on the ground, he shook his head slightly watching one crawl over his boots

Nod was given, silent chuckle at the fact that Savvy was being her normal, somewhat clumsy self. But she did have a good point, and a good idea about the whole Wal-Mart thing. Afterall, it was one of the only places that was open all night. Laughter echoed from Lydi's lips after Savvy made the comment. Like anyone was going to be there to stop them anyways.
"Sure.. Wal-Mart sounds good. At least the lines won't be long." Sinister smirk found its way over full lips, slight hint of ivory shining through cocked corner. However, when Brad spoke of not going.. she was a little concerned.
"I dunno, Brad.. maybe we should all stick together, ya know? It's not very smart to get separated in this City." Cerulean spheres darted toward Brad's figure, ebony tassles swaying ever so delicately with the turn of her head. Nothing was heard from Cassie, but Lydi suspected that she thought she same.
But one thing was for sure.. they didn't need to waste any more time.
