Firm confident strides, head down, right hand flexing near her weapon. Eyes fixed forward and onwards, targeting the house a short way up a gentle drive way. But this was jsut her cover up, she felt little confidence. Eyes exhausted and struggling to focus. Black converse trainers trudging over the tarmac.
She could hear his breath his own determinded forward thinking walk, his eyes on her back probably judging her. She tried to ignore him, focus on something different. The house was close, she headed past the front door, going round the side. They passed several large windows looking into dark somber looking rooms.
She stopped in her tracks, turning back around to face him. She stood next to a similar large window to the others, though this one was broken, the peices lay shattered everywhere. it led into the dining room. She could see her own footprints from her previous encounter with the house, they led inside and out through a large oak door.
She smiled weakly as she stood, left hand giving a small open gesture introducing thier way in.
This is where I entered before, would you like to go first?
Her voice light, simple, little accent lingered on the tip of her tongue. Her dark eyes on his, brows furrowed softly in querie. Lips twitched in polite smile. Announcing no trick for turtore, con for fun. Just the innocence of a lost girl.

He had been watching her with his eyes indeed. The piercing grey orbs stabbing into her back. He had seen the weariness and little confidence in her eyes. The eyes held nothing back, for they were windows to the soul, and Leo didn't have a soul.
He looked through the windows as they passed them with little amusement. It would be warm and comfortable it seemed. He could get a fire going in one of the rooms and then get some marginal sleep, if he didn't have to worry about Lia.
He smiled slightly, coldly at her as they stopped his eyes going to hers as he searched for something. Something human in those eyes, and he was hit with innocence. Petty human innocence. Useless.
"Doesn't matter."
But he answered her with going in first, stepping over the shards of glass carefully so as not to ruin his shoes, which were shockingly cleans and polished.

His hate and coldness only promised him a troubled fate, cold hearts don't beat long and not to love was only being dead. How could you live like that? She moved behind him stepping up and into the building, this time her eyes were watching his back.
The table from before was still layed out unmoved, though her eyes moved over to the door it was opened perhaps she had left it open previously?
Lets move upstairs...
She spoke without looking at him, his eyes made her bones chill, so she would avoid having to speak to him directly for a while. She strod in front of him, sweeping quickly from the room and up the stairs.

Leo loved nor heated anyone. He was emotionless to the finest degree, but somewhere under the cold shell and the grey eyes was a human who had been born with nothing to him except the promise of death. Star-crossed he was.
"Fine."
His steps were cautious and light, so as not to step on a weak board and fall through. He saw the stairs through one of the room and started to make his way upstairs, his hand on the grip of his handgun so as nothing caught him unalert.
Leo had never lived a life for himself, he had killed when he was kid, and had been the cruel, but lonely kid on the block. Changing the lonliness into cruelty and then anger, later depression, and then coldness. The military dubbed him th perfect killing machine.

She had stopped on the landing, looking back down as Leo came behind her. Though eyes lingered on the floor as she turned back and floated forward to the end of the corridor at the top on the stairs. Stopping at a large door, foot lightly tipping the door open.
The lock was broken, as she had left it. Eyes swept the room breifly, taking in the king-sized bed, the glass doors leading out onto the balcony, fire place and the dressing table in the corner. She had seen it all before, so she took less time observing and walked across to the closet door.
Her hand grasped the handle and she swiftly pulled the door towards her. Inside lay a neat bundle on the floor, mahogony ruck sack with nearly hundreds of jangling badges on saying various random words and sayings. next to the ruck sack lay an accoustic guitar, her guitar. She had stored it here from last time. She picked them up turned back to Leo.

He had already swept past her, checking the room for anything that could be used as a device against them. He kenlt next to the edge of the balcony and looked out at the grounds below. Nothing that could be seen from here. He stood up and looked at her and guitar.
He hadn't seen a piece of musical instrument so long. He had played the violin, his own black violin. But not anymore. He played with guns now and people.
"Interesting."
He said, keeping his amusement under. He walked over to the fireplace and sighed sitting there cross-legged looking at the empty fireplace.

She frowned at his remark and watched as he went and sat before the empty cold fireplace. She looked down at her gorgeous accoustic guitar, its varnished surface gleamed. The wood intact and the strings vibrated softly and she ran her fingers over them. She hugged it close. He's not using this for wood... I'de rather be cold.
She moved over and sat on the bed, laying her guitar on the floor and the rucksack next to her on the bed. She opened it and pulled out some cans, the contents were revealed as beans mainly, a packet of pasta, matches and two cans of lager.

He sighed and stood once more, rising slowly and wincing from the three cracked ribs on his left side. He could nolonger hide it. He had had this pain since he had fallen off the building fighting the cannibals.
He raised to his full height and walked away, so as not to be noticing it. He went down the stairs and into one of the rooms. He kicked the chair with one shoe and the chair broke into pieces. He did this several times and carrying them up the stairs.
He walked over to the fire and lays it down. He looks over at her and smirked.
"I need some matches."

She automaticly chucked the box to him, watching as he caught them. His pain obvious now, in his chest either broken or a puncture, probably not to serious though. She didn't say anything, just kept quiet. Watching observing, she knew how proud some people could be and she wanted to avoid any confrontation.
Picking up her guitar, she gently and quietly strummed some chords they changed into a sweet melody of flowing sounds, licking and twisting in the air to their ears.

He smiled softly, hearing the noice holding the box close. The music brought distand memoried to mind. But with a quick shake of his head he was out of it. He stood up and opened the box pulling out the matches he piled the wood and struck a match under the wood. It caught fire easily and started to burn.
He raised and walked over to her handing the box to her. He nodded to her slightly and walked over to the balcony. Cautiously he leaned against it and looked up to the sky.

The warmth from the fire was instant, heating up her chilled bones. Leo also seemed to have warmed, softening him. The feeling of the fire made her skin prickle, as if she were de-frosting from a long ice era although she could not remember the weather being cold nor hot just a dulling grey, dampening spirits and making you feel even more lonely in this desolate world, quite literally.
She stoped strumming and stood up, walking out onto the balcony. Joining him at his right side, her gaze followed his, up into the sky. It was growing dark now. She look back at him, at his eyes.
Do you want me to have a look at your ribs for you?
Risky question, yes. She didn't want to hurt his pride by offering help but she couldn't help it, only wanting to help. A smile crept up on her lips, eyes concentrated deep on his expressions.

He turned towards her and smiled, something of cold lonliness, words couldn't explain. He removed his trenchcoat and draped it on the rail. He then started to unbutton his black shirt until he had it unbuttoned. His body was cut like fine stone and only coiled muscles and bones. On his right side was a large dark blue bruise that had swollen.
"I believed I have cracked some ribs."
It didn't matter to him. His body showed battle scars all over, some looking like whip lashes and some bullet wounds.

((he he this website is funny(or joke! lol wat eva) www.chavscum.co.uk/index.php - hope it offends no one)) Eyes fell on the large purple bruise, looked painfull and she wondered how he had done it a;though he didn't seem awefully bothered about it. Yes, you have. It should be OK.She smiled at him, folding her arms hugging her self feeling the chill out here. Seeming as night was coming in the the breeze, a sharp chill biting thier warm flesh hungrilly. She went back inside, crawling on the bed to the other side. Sitting against the head board.

He buttoned up his shirt and grabbed his trenchcoat slowly putting it back on. He walked back inside, but feeling the heat decided he could take off his trenchcoat. He removed once more and put it down over a chair. He sat down slowly next to the fire and looked into the flames.
Night was coming cold and blunt. Leo rose once more, restless and came to the balcony, grabbing the balcony doors he closed them and kicked them in place to hold them. The glass of the doors wasn't shattered thankfully, but it was extremely weak.
He looked over at her and smiled slightly, but that was it, a slight smile.

She smiled back, nodding her head in thanks for closing the door. She too took off her jacket leaving it on the floor near her guitar. She crawled back to where she was sat before, back pushed against the head board.
The room was rather warm and comfortable now, maybe this would be the best nights sleep in a long time. She felt safe with Leo here and in this short space of time she had gotten to know him more and like him, for he wasn't as he first seemed which was cold and heartless, there was something more.
